When two data centers are working properly, companies are able to shift their data loading onto cloud systems or their own data centers. They’re able to freely select where data is to be stored and automatically send backed-up copies of key services retrieved from the background to cloud systems. It ensures resources between data centers are put to good use without much down time. In the event of a disaster, key services automatically boot up from the cloud and data get routed to the cloud data center. In this sense, companies are able to keep working undisturbed, achieving the purpose of a true active-active data center infrastructure.
