Taiwan’s long-standing local brand eASPNet hosted its grand 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner last Friday at the Taipei Marriott Hotel. The event brought together prominent figures from politics and business, as well as domestic and international partners. Distinguished guests, including Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-An and former BCC Chairman Jaw Shaw-Kong, attended the celebration to join key clients in witnessing the company’s growth journey and envisioning its blueprint for future innovation.

Founded in 2000, eASPNet is headquartered in the heart of the Neihu Science Park. That same year, the company invested hundreds of millions to build Taiwan’s first international telecom-grade data center. Upholding the philosophy of “Customer First, Service Above All,” eASPNet has consistently provided data center hosting, network access, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. In recent years, the company has strategically expanded its presence in the AI sector through its cloud brand, GWS CLOUD, which offers a range of cloud services to support enterprises and government agencies in the adoption and implementation of AI technologies. For the past 25 years, eASPNet has been at the forefront of innovation and digital transformation.

At the gala, Chairman Jackson humorously referred to himself as a “living fossil of the industry” while sharing eASPNet’ s story. He remarked that the high-tech industry experiences a wave of innovation every five to ten years. Since its inception, eASPNet has served as a critical hub in Asia with its fiber optic submarine cables and transmission infrastructure, thereby strengthening its leadership in data centers. Even during the 2008 financial crisis, the company continued to enhance its cloud services, becoming one of the earliest enterprises in Asia to embrace the cloud. In recent years, eASPNet has expanded into Southeast Asia, establishing offices in Thailand and Vietnam with the ambition of bringing Taiwan’s services to more international enterprises.

One of the evening’s highlights came when the Chairman transformed into a rock star, leading the Evergreen Rocking Band in a series of Beatles classics. The high-energy performance brought the atmosphere to a climax, showcasing the rock spirit of this tech industry leader.

In response to the growing demand for computing power in the AI era, eASPNet launched GWS AI Cloud, which integrates AI assistants, GPU rental services, and large-scale model training platforms. The company also introduced its Containerized Data Center Project, which features next-generation water-cooling systems that significantly shorten data center construction cycles. Unlike traditional civil engineering and electromechanical facilities that take two to three years to complete, this project can finish design, factory assembly, delivery, and testing within just one year, helping clients accelerate AI computing and deployment.

Marking its 25th anniversary as a new beginning, Chairman Wu stated that eASPNet will continue to deepen AI applications and showcase Taiwan’s innovation in cloud technology and AI to the world. He emphasized that the gala was not only a celebration of past achievements but also a symbol of a bold new chapter filled with both challenges and opportunities.
