eASPNet Assists Administration for Digital Industries, moda in Building AI Computing Pool

The topic of AI is gaining momentum. During his speech at COMPUTEX, Jensen Huang, the CEO, and founder of NVIDIA, emphasized the vast potential of the AI ecosystem, ranging from generative AI and large language training models to behavioral detection and healthcare and elderly care services. As the world focuses on the multi-trillion-dollar AI industry, the massive data and computing demands also bring significant cost challenges.

To position Taiwan as an AI island, the Organizational Act of the Administration for Digital Industries, Ministry of Digital Affairs (hereinafter referred to as “the Administration”) is vigorously promoting AI computing resources and actively constructing Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) to foster the thriving development of related industry chains. Under the Cross-Domain Digital Public Infrastructure and Digital Services Ascendancy Program the department plans to establish an AI computing pool to support Taiwanese startups. Leveraging years of experience in government cloud services and nearly 25 years in data center operations, eASPNet provides GPU AI management platform solutions and 24/7 technical support, becoming a partner in this project.

Dennis Chiu, Vice General Manager of Business Development at eASPNet, stated that the AI computing pool project differs from traditional infrastructure in terms of technology and power planning, especially due to the high power demands of GPU servers, requiring customized power configurations. In terms of hardware planning, environments are being set up with top-tier servers, including NVIDIA H100 and AMD MI300 GPUs, showcasing different application scenarios. eASPNet offers a range of services, including GPU computing resource architecture planning, AI server deployment, the Infinite GPU management platform, the GWS CLOUD-O cloud platform, data center operations, and around-the-clock cybersecurity protection. The deployment of GPU platform nodes on the GWS CLOUD-O cloud enhances platform availability, speeds up deployment, and facilitates management. In terms of cybersecurity, eASPNet is certified with ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018 information security management certifications, providing comprehensive cybersecurity tools to help create a secure environment for the computing platform.

The construction of this AI computing pool not only accelerates Taiwan’s progress in AI development but also showcases eASPNet’s technical strength and practical experience. Looking ahead, there are plans to establish a dedicated GPU computing pool in Thailand to provide resources for companies needing to train AI models, offering comprehensive one-stop AI services, including network and power planning, procurement, management, and operations, to meet growing demand.
